Scope and operator

This notice covers the Lucas & Thomas game operated by Chronicle of Brothers, LLC, Los Angeles, California, USA.

The game is intended for family play, including children age 5–6 and older with a parent or guardian.

Information kept by the game

The game keeps player profiles and the name entered for each profile, progress and recovery state, game preferences, and named Nearby recovery checkpoints in local game storage.

This information supports continuing a game, restoring a local recovery point, remembering preferences, and showing the chosen player name in the game.

Nearby play and networking

On Android, Nearby play discovers and connects devices on the same local network. Before two devices pair, discovery advertises neutral room and service identifiers plus connection protocol metadata. It does not advertise the entered adventure or player name. After pairing, game messages can include a randomly generated peer identifier, the selected career, and game or checkpoint state needed for shared play. Families choose whether to start or join a Nearby room.

The desktop/LAN server mode uses local HTTP and Server-Sent Events (SSE) for room play. That transport is different from Android Nearby.

Cards, exports, and sharing

A card exported from the game intentionally keeps the player name that was entered so the card identifies the achievement. Exporting or sharing happens only after a person chooses the save or share action and then chooses an app or storage destination.

Once a card is saved or sent outside the game, the selected app, storage provider, recipient, or device controls its copy. Deleting a profile or resetting the game cannot recall or delete those outside copies. On Android, temporary native share-cache files may remain until a later cleanup; the in-game Factory Reset is not an Android device factory reset.

Backup, restore, and deletion

Android backup is enabled. WebView save data, including local storage and IndexedDB data used by the game, is eligible for Android backup under the app's current backup configuration. Eligibility does not guarantee that a device or account will create or restore a backup.

Deleting a player removes that player's current local records and recovery data. The in-game Factory Reset removes the game's current local records and recovery data on that installation. These actions do not erase exported cards, copies already shared, backup copies held by a platform, or records on another device. If an older Android backup was made before deletion, reinstalling or restoring the app could bring back data from that older backup. The game cannot promise permanent deletion from a platform's backup system.

Camera, microphone, ads, and measurement

The game's selfie and photo moments use game artwork. They do not capture the player with the device camera or microphone.

This copy of the game and Android app does not include an integrated advertising, analytics, or in-app purchase service. This describes the included game; services elsewhere on a device and future versions may differ.
